Naturopathic Medicine

What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is grounded in the belief that the body has an innate capacity to heal when given the right support. It’s a system of medicine that looks beyond symptom management to explore and address the deeper imbalances at the root of illness. What drew me to this path was its ability to weave together the wisdom of traditional healing with the insights of modern science.

As a naturopathic doctor, I completed a four-year medical education at an accredited naturopathic medical school. The training includes a rigorous foundation in biomedical sciences and clinical diagnostics, much like conventional medical programs, but also goes further—emphasizing therapies that support the whole person. These include botanical medicine, homeopathy, clinical nutrition, physical medicine, and therapeutic counseling. This broad and integrative training allows me to meet each patient with a wider lens—one that honors the complexity of the human experience and the many paths to healing.
